"X factor is a reality show with a difference! This is an exciting spin on make-over programmes, that delves a little deeper, in an attempt to really help the contestant get the results they want!"

"I went on this programme just wanting a makeover and some new clothes. I ended up getting far more than I bargained for..."

Odile (Participant)

Going on a date, or the prospect of having to meet someone for the first time can be extremely daunting – for any age group. When you're young you worry about what you should do, and as you get older you worry about what you might do... Meet Odile. Approaching thirty, Odile is in a situation that is facing an ever increasing number of women in the 21st Century. Still single, with a few bad relationships up her sleeve to mar her confidence, she wants to meet someone new.

X-Factor works on several levels: how to present ourselves, how to improve our confidence and conversational skills, and what not to do when out on a date. Clamming up, talking about ourselves (excessively), or waving around Polaroids of our three children tucked up in bed at home, are all big mistakes!

Our panel of experts give tips on body language, conversation, confidence and style. Odile is then let loose to date up a storm in the hope that love will indeed blossom – after all, we all love a happy ending . . .
