Welcome to the world of two local GPs, a district nurse and volunteer ambulance staff who admirably rise to the challenge of a huge influx of tourists. High drama and local colourful characters combine to create a tantalising glimpse into the world of small town medicals dealing with big town influx.

Dr Glenn Marriott and volunteer ambos Ash and Diane are called out to a teenage car crash. Next morning Glenn has a stressful day dealing with cuts, breaks and blackouts before having an argument with ambulance dispatch. And District Nurse Barbara Peddie visits Coromandel's very own hermit.
Episode 2It's New Years Eve and all go for our medical team in Coromandel. Volunteer ambos are called out to a young boy who is unconscious. Dr Glenn Marriott attends to a woman who has been run over by a car. Dr Sandy Flooks deals with a determined but ailing postie who won't follow doctors orders and Dr Bryan McLeod gets a late night callout to a teenage party.
Episode 3Volunteer ambos are called out to a head-on collision. District Nurse Barbara Peddie samples the gourmet delights of a patient but has to a bit of pampering in return. Dr Glenn Marriott's without a receptionist after she suffers heart pulpitations. Dr Bryan McLeod meets Coromandel's version of the Topp Twins and Dr Sandy Flooks deals with an unfortunate toilet stopper.
Episode 4Dr Glenn Marriott acts quickly after a toddler swallows her grandfathers medication. A routine visit for District nurse Barbara Peddie to turns into an emergency callout. And Dr Bryan McLeod responds to a call from distressed ambo staff, after a man has a seizure.
Episode 5Dr Glenn Marriott's called out in the middle of the night to a distressed woman with heart problems. District Nurse Barbara Peddie makes a visit to Coromandel's favourite hermit. And Dr Bryan McLeod shows us what he's made of in a gruelling multisport event.
Episode 6Ambulance Officers Pete and Ash are frustrated at a false alarm callout. Dr Bryan McLeod makes sure one of his patients retains his independence. And Dr Glenn Marriott and District Nurse Barbara Peddie lose one of their patients.
Episode 7Dr Sandy Flooks has a overseas patient resisting treatment. Dr Bryan McLeod comforts a patient who's upset he may not return from hospital. Barbara tends to a holiday burns victim. And Dr Glenn Marriott has a stressful time trying to get away on holiday.
