Dog Squad is an exciting new series, following integral roles that working dogs and their handlers play on the frontline protecting our streets, prisons, mountains, airports and borders.
We're right in with the action following the real scenarios that unfold as a result of these dedicated hardworking dogs, in the Correction Service, Police, Aviation Security, Customs, MAF and Search and Rescue.

Episode 1
Corrections Dog Ted zeroes in on a prison visitor with a dubious carload of gear, the Police Delta Dog squad are called to an all out street brawl and Search and Rescue dig for bodies in the snow.
Episode 2At the airport – Custom's Dogs sniff out a couple of young drug carrying travellers, Police dog Tank chases after some metal thieves and Corrections dog Ted locates a stash of cannabis.
Episode 3Corrections officer Maurice and his dog Ted find more illegal contraband on prison visitors and Police dog Isla and Handler Jason chase an axe wielding man and the driver of a crashed car.
Episode 4A routine Corrections road block turns up a swag of illegal contraband, Police dog handler Justin and his dog Tank go after runaway car thieves, and MAF dog Griff sniffs out a ceremonial drinking vessel.
Episode 5Wellington Police Dog Squad are hot on the trail of an arson gang, Corrections dog Ted finds more than letters home in a search of the prison mail centre and Police dog Ila is called in to halt the behaviour of an uninvited guest.
